Review the plan you already have.

We review your practice’s current retirement plan and public filing, then explain in plain language whether the owners are hitting a ceiling or paying more tax than they need to.

What we do

Many small professional practices already put a lot of company money into a basic 401(k) or profit-sharing plan. That can be fine. Sometimes it isn't. The owners may be capped on what they can put away for themselves, or the firm may be paying more tax than a different design would call for.

We look for that pattern. We don't assume you need a redesign.

How we work

  1. Look at the current plan and filing. We start with what you have on paper and what shows up in the public record.

  2. Separate facts from assumptions. We sort what the documents show from what people often guess.

  3. Explain the gap in ordinary language, or say there isn't one.

  4. Only then bring in specialists, if you want a closer look and a different design is worth that step.

If there is a gap

If the review shows a real gap, we don't just leave you a memo.

We bring in specialists who handle technical plan design, filings and ongoing administration, and the funding side. They join the next conversation only if you want that closer look.

You still work with one person at Retirement Tax Architects. We coordinate the rest.

If the review doesn't show a gap, we stop. There are no specialists and no redesign.

Who it’s for

Owners of small professional practices and firms (medical, dental, law, and similar) who already have a 401(k) or profit-sharing plan and want a clear read on whether it still fits the owners.

Who it’s not for

  • People looking to roll over an IRA.

  • Shops that only want more employee 401(k) features.

  • Owners who aren’t looking for a plain-language review of the plan they already have.
